CareHandoff Health was born from a simple, frustrating reality: when multiple people care for a child, critical health information gets lost in text threads, sticky notes, and memory. We set out to fix that.
How it started
Our founder experienced the problem firsthand. After a rushed hand-off between a babysitter and a grandparent led to a missed allergy medication dose, the idea for CareHandoff was clear: there had to be a better way to share a child's health information between caregivers.
We talked to hundreds of parents, nannies, and pediatricians. The pattern was universal: everyone was doing their best, but information lived in silos. A parent would update a vaccination record, but the nanny wouldn't know. A co-parent would track symptoms, but the doctor would never see the full picture.
CareHandoff Health is the platform we wished existed. It brings every caregiver into a single, secure environment where health records, medications, appointments, and symptoms are always up-to-date and always accessible to the right people.
